She will also discuss maintenance options and suggestions for maintaining your beautiful new salon hair color. After the consultation, Amanda will offer you one of her available beverages, like a cappuccino, latte, or wine. Then, everyone's second favorite part, the hot towel around the neck before the hair color service is performed. You’ll enjoy custom music selections and good conversation, or even silence, if you'd like. After the hair color has been applied, you may receive a steam treatment while it processes. Then comes the best part, the shampoo. Amanda will perform a relaxing shampoo using Innersense Organic Beauty products. Your service will be completed with an educational style. Amanda will go over every product she uses and describe every technique being used to achieve the style. She will give tips and tricks on maintaining and recreating your beautiful new look. You’ll be sent home with a sample of product and anything you decide to purchase, will come with handwritten instructions on how to use it at home.

Answer: You’ve invested in your hair color, you want to make sure to protect your investment! Amanda recommends you wait to wash your new hair color for at least 24-48 hours. When shampooing your new hair color, make sure to use professional products to protect your color from fading. Another way to protect your hair color is to use warm water, NOT hot. Hot water can swell the outer layer of the hair and allow the color molecules to leave the hair shaft, it's also very drying for the hair. Protect your hair color from UV rays that can also cause color to fade. wear a hat, or use a product like Innersense’s Hair Love Prep Spray, which has a built in UV shield.
